Transoms are inverted ''T'' sections, with wedge fixings at each end that fix the inner and outer standards of the scaffold horizontally to form the frame. The transoms also provide seating for the battens to make the platform.
The Kwikstage Wedge System scaffolding consists of only 4 main components with no loose fittings, this makes identification, storage, transportation and assembly extremely efficient and cost effective.
