Our unbraked swivel castors are perfect for creating furniture, point of sale displays, light duty trucks and trolleys. The expander allows it to fit our range of 48.3mm tube and is tightened with a 17mm spanner or socket. The measurement from the bottom of the wheel to where the tube would rest is 120mm (please see diagram).
The castor itself is made from pressed steel and the swivel head has a double ball race and grey rubber tyred wheel. The wheel has a plastic centre. We also supply this castor and expander set with a brake. We recommend that for most uses you use 2x braked castors and 2x unbraked castors.
