Square Base Plate 132-D (40mm)
Tube Clamp or Pipe Clamps for 40x40mm box section. Complies with B.S. EN1461. And are also known by the term key clamps.
A structural base plate for all aspects of vertical post support. This fitting when used as a base plate for guardrailing should always be positioned with the holes across the line of the guardrail. We do not recommend pre-drilling as there can be irregularities in casting that can produce small variations in the size of the holes.
Our tube clamps can be used to produce a wide range of handrails, furniture pieces, shop fittings, displays etc... By using square tube clamps you can beneift from a more unique design, which is much faster to assemble.
This clamp is suitable for our 40x40 box section available in galvanised steel finish or aluminium.

All clamps come with stainless steel grub screws fitted. If full tightened using a ratchet key to a torque of 4.1kg/m (29ft/lb), the grub screw is capable of withstanding an applied slipload of 900kg.
